Eels players a massive transformation

SEN 1170 Micheal Caryalphabetnis was saying stories are spreading around league clubs in relation to what a massive difference the eels look in body shape, fitness and skill wise.

Basically giving BA a backhand to head because of his 'old' school techniques and coaching, saying Ryles in one offseason has brought in a breath of fresh air and has added his touch to the team.

The example he used was 'it's like Moses is playing for a different team but still in the blue and gold' also credited the high performance person Lachlan for the fantastic work they've done in the off season.

I tried to find the few minutes he spoke about them, was actually good listening.

  • Doesn't seem there will ever be a missed opportunity to sink the boot into BA.
Ryles hasn't achieved anything yet on the field with this team, so no point batting off just yet.

    • True, time will tell I guess.

    • Yeah good point Dice, how often do you hear about a team doing badly in pre-season? Only time you actually do is when the club go on to have an average season and bring it up as foresight.

    • I've got one ready for every week of the year.

Nothing like a good BA flogging.

      • Yep. Criticising BA is good for the soul.

  • Toughest pre-season ever?

  • Every time I was watching them via media they looked " bored as batshit "

no wonder they were so slow at times back to their mark or chasing things down they were god damned like robots !!!

im expecting to see much more energy and skill and I can't wait !!!!!💛💛💛

    • Spot on Carlo, we always had skillful players but that's hasn't always translated as a team - with more speed in the backline, 2 rep players in Lomax & JAC automatically this will have the opposition on edge.

  • Same old Rubish 39 years and counting ........

    • But who's counting....Didn't you hear they are super fit!
