Brian Smith...they need him
I would love Smith back at Parramatta, but not as head coach, he should be head of football. Help O'Neill and BA or whoever is coach out by doing the behind the scenes work of negotiations, recruiting and junior pathways. Smith had his faults as a coach, but bringing juniors along was a key strength.
Yeah maybe that role but doesn't fix the immediate problem.
Think Brian may want his son working under him. Don't know anything about his son?
Might even have Luke Burt under him? What has happened to his coaching career wonder?
Brian's son has been a long term head coach in the Super League in his own right but has previously said he has no interest in the NRL. He likes the SL, it's not as much of a pressure cooker as the NRL.
Tony is his brother isn't he?
What about Josh Morris under Smith. Thought he did a great job at Sharks.
