        Mallee, re coach that for me is all hindsight now - feel we have the coach, its more the cattle, and that leads to a club issue (R and R) which I believe has been mentioned once or twice....

      I'm sorry Mitchy but with your Teacher Occupation you should know better, I am very disappointed , I am replying on behalf of strong islander types and white guys that we are being discriminated against.......though I am pleased you did not include the "aged" in there!

        Age shall not weary them Poppa, nor the years condemn.

        Its a simple balance of hard heads and strong running type forwards - you only need to look at Melb / Dolhpins having a mix of players / background types in their pack. No doubt you are at the gym now....working out.

      The salt and pepper mix is very important . You need the guys with the flamboyant skills but you also need the guys who'll dig deep and grind it out when the pill gets dropped .  
      
      The Polynesian guys are exciting and skillfull to watch, but you need your Beau Scott's to keep things starched in defence  . Too much of one you'll end up with a team that will win by 30 or lose by 30 , too much of the other and you have a one dimensional boring team that could rarely dig themselves out from behind like Arthur seemed to end up with regularly .

        Yes Wiz, Beau was good for us - shame we got him a couple of years too late; I look at some teams and they ave forward leader type who does the talking and walking; we need that type of guy; or someone who just gets stuck in and does the 1%ers each game.

          I think Hopgood was/is heading into that territory Mitchy, of all the players we lost this year, I think singly that he has been the biggest differentiater.

      Yeah just need that agro. Someone who is mad as a cut snake. We have workers but not much in terms of pure power.
