      • There's no doubt about it Wiz, you need to have a touch of masochism to be a Parra Supporter.....having been married for a very looong time, I am quiet comfortable being regularly kicked in the balls, matter of fact I am not even sure what bag my wife has them in at the moment.

  • Israel folau at 37 will link up with tigers possibly by june 30th

    • I'm reading today the Tigers bumped it on the head. We are certainties to make an offer now .  Not even joking unfortunately.

      • Thinking about this as I reread it and thought of Toupo and how effective he still is for Roosters.

If Folau can still jump and catch (he is good as it gets in that respect) and can run as fast as Toupo still can, then I could think of worse.....what would you pay him 200k, train and trial at the worst, get him in now so we can make some judgements for when he is 38!

Certain irony in him coming to Parramatta! (again).

  • I do wonder what's the plan with Jenkins, and McLean.

Jesse McLean would be a great Addo-Carr replacement beyond 2027. But Jenkins has been playing left side too. I know he played centre before but not sure how good he was there? On paper, a left sided partnership of Jenkins plus Jesse McLean has plenty of pace and power and trickery.

But if that's true, then it means BUrton is coming as a 6. I'd rather he came as a centre, and I prefer the 6 to be a mercurial players like Lorenzo or even Volkman.

    • Perhaps Jenkins at Centre on the left? I mean a bit odd as his best footy has been on the Wing. Then you'll have a face off between Simonsson and McLean for the Wing spot.

Dint count out Bloomfield as JAC's replacement, if he doesn't leave for Union.

      • I think one of Jenkins or McLean comes. Simonsson, Penisini and Samrani and Kelly sorta have the right side sorted for 2027 at least. Unless Penisini does leave indeed.

Then you have Nanva, Addo-Carr, Jenkins and McLean I guess for the left? Or Jenkins and Burton? Or Burton and McLean? (I prefer latter combination).

        • Nanva is no FG proposition, Samrani and Kelly are fine for back ups or 3rd choices if we cannot get what we want.

They are not Chess Pieces Yehez, they need individual skills not designated shapes.

      • Reading in between the lines, I don't think EA rates Bloomfield as anything to pin your hopes on. Personally I wouldn't know, but just get that feeling?

        • Not sure where you got that from. I rate Bloomfield

"I said in my post that Fletcher might have had a chance, considering he was an aussie schoolboy. Do you think he would've been a 14 or even a half for this NSW team?"

"We've had 3 in 2023 and 2024 in NSW I think. Tuivati both years, Sanders, Arthur, Talagi as well. I think Michael Gabreal too?
So yeah, good crop. And the likes of Bloomfield and Fletcher would've had a chance if it wasn't for injury/rugby. "

"Bamblett is a beautiful runner of the football at fullback. Glides across the ground. He has a major obstacle for the next 5 years in Longi .  He is more than capable of playing 6 and has game awareness and eyes up footy ability. Very talented boy. "
