Parramatta are interested in Mitch Barnett. Now at 33 in 2027 and coming off ACL, good idea? Having Paulo and De Belin being 34 and 36 respectively is it good to have that much age?

They have already released him. How can they? Or have they put the same clause in as Lomax. Bit rude of the Warriors as he is coming home for a sick child. Not trying to fill his pockets.

They have released him for next year, whats being talked about now is a same season swap.
If my abovementioned comments are valid, we could do it and maybe offer a young forward for development that we struggle to fit in the present overcrowded situation. Doorey comes to mind?.......how many wingers do they have over there, Simmo would be a handy swap if they have anyone more suitable they are looking to development with experience, size and pace being a prerequisite.
I think putting money into someone else who is in there late twenty's would be better. 34years old is a bit too old.

Did you see what happened to NSW in Game 2 without Barnett? The forwards got destroyed even with Haas in the team. He is an absolute defensive gun and definitely someone to look at to replace Paulo.
