"Iongi seems to be much more then just a working full back. Plenty of playmaking in him "
"Yeah it's difficult to judge Joash off one game, give him a full offseason at 6 and he might come out of his shell in attack. As long as he does simple things well at this stage and we stack 1-7-9 I'm ok with it "
"Moses will never shift to 6. You can play Hawkins as a Halfback wearing 6. "
"In that case Eli, anyone can play 6 really. Papali'i as a runner at the moment has not shown too much but limited chances as well. I think it could be a reason for Ryles chasing Da Silva to have more creativity around the ruck and free up Moses and…"

i can see him as a potential 6, has the skillset
My 'sauces' tells me old Gus just reserved a table for a succulent Chinese meal. Looks like another Dogs signing 😉
Yep he was always going there as soon as Glavin did.
Gus is too good for our mob.
Would rather stick with Smith as our starting hooker.
If he comes, he'll start and they'll mould smith into a utility
I think TDS will be with us before June 30. I can't see how the dogs can fit him in, especially this year. They still have Mahoney, plus Haywood who they rate as their long term 9, TDS wants to go to a club where he can play regular 1st grade. Won't happen this year at dogs, but it will at Parra. Love Smith, but the way he plays he will get burnt out before too long. A Smith TDS tag team is the way to go, brings back memories of the Drew/Marsh combo we had. With the tempo of the game these days, a 2 hooker rotation is the way to go, I can see why we are favourites.
two 9s is definitely the way to go, game is getting faster and it's getting to the point you can even play both at the same time in some parts of the game. Can definitely use both TDS and Ryley in the 17
Think about how effective it would be if Smith opens and closes a game with his defence and pressure, and De Silva comes in around the 15-20min mark as an attacking threat. It would work pretty well. But still, I don't think we're getting him.
I think we are a pretty strong chance of getting him as he wants to play nrl immediately. Manly probably the biggest threat but hopefully we can land him. We know cap space isn't an issue for parra currently haha
If we sign this kid, it could be not too disimiliar to when Brian Smith used Brad Drew and PJ Marsh etc.lets see what plays out; I hope we can snag another backrower tbh
