The Mole: Parramatta Eels facing 'agonising' decision over star halves Dylan Brown and Mitchell Moses
Parramatta faces the agonising decision in coming weeks of which of their star halves to let go - Michell Moses or Dylan Brown.
The two had best-ever seasons this year - helping the Eels all the way to the grand final.
Both are available to rival clubs for 2024, having failed to come to terms with the Eels before the November 1 deadline last week.
The pair are proven match-winners and among the hottest properties on the open market.
Both can command overs from clubs desperate for class playmakers and, as such, the Eels will find it near impossible to keep them both under the salary cap.
Brown's manager Gavin Orr told Wide World of Sports his client has around 10 clubs on his trail - and Moses isn't far behind.
"There are few clubs not interested in Dylan, to be honest," Orr said.
"Wayne Bennett has made him the new No.1 target at the Dolphins and that will inflate the market.
"Dylan loves the Eels and wants to stay … but he also has to think of his family and his future."
The Tigers are prepared to throw massive dollars at Moses, a local junior who started his career at the club.
The Bulldogs will also have plenty of money to throw at a quality playmaker and are certain to have a crack at one or the other.

So the media reckon atleast one will go. Surely parra lock both up long term.
We have just signed Jake arthur on good coin, *not the minimum trust me), that shows we are prepared to let either player walk. You never sign a reserve grade player at best before your two main halves. Its a shambles imo.
Trust you Chiefy????/ what about the time I came over and you tried to steal my dog and my wife (in that order). Luckily I was prepared to let one go, and it wasn't for the money......trust me! Lol
Yea like you were prepared to let Marsha go before peppe the poodle just shows your absolute loyalty. I suppose peppe would complain less when ploppa overstays his pattaya sheboy trip so there you go. 😃🙃😃🙃
A lot of big words there Chiefy.....as usual they don't make sense...Lol
Haha but the truth hurts plopps
You of all people would know that! LOL
Didn't both halves want this dealt with after the RLWC.
I also think Parra are smart waiting to find out what the final cap number is.
This off season has been a shambles cap wise from the nrl with regards to a final number and subsequent years ahead.

With the bidding war, one could be mistaken that these two are actually PREMIERSHIP winning halves. Both went missing in the GF !!
