JA looks like he is becoming a good reserve grade half - last year he seemed an average reserve grade half.
For me his fixable weakness was not taking the line on, which made his passes predictable hospital passes.
He will never be the zippy type of player that sneaks through gaps but if he can get the core body strength to push through the line and offload he could be an nrl player
This year he passed at the line in a trials match to set up his edge and in these highlights he pushed through two forwards to score. Kid deserves some encouragement. It is BA who should be criticised for putting his son where he should not have been. And I do not buy all the excuses - no other center options, Guth broken hand. You do not weaken a developing good halves pairing to cover other positions - there were always other better options for centre and FB and hooker. And if these were used we may have won an extra game last year allowing us to rest our forwards before the finals....
Murchie looked like he had a good game but did not see the stats

JA is a good young player and showed glimpses of it in NRL but I agree that he needs more regular game time in Reggies first.
Parra was $1.20 Dragons $4.50 they can't have played too well.
We scored 5 tries to 4 but rankin couldn't convert
Didn't see anything to suggest JA has improved enough to play NRL. I think he is a great Reggies player, doubt he is even a back up for NRL.
Who won the game?
26-26
So no golden point? A drawn game?
Dunster scored in 79th minute to level the scores but Rankin missed the conversion.
No Golden point
