Club Statement
Dylan Brown today faced court regarding an incident that took place on 3 June 2023. During today’s appearance, Dylan entered guilty pleas to two charges upon the prosecution withdrawing the remaining three charges. Following the guilty pleas, the court issued a Community Corrections Order for 18 months.
Parramatta Eels CEO Jim Sarantinos made the following comments:
“Our Club has a strong commitment to respectful behaviour towards women, and the behaviour that was outlined in court today is unacceptable and against the expectations we have at our Club. Dylan has taken full responsibility for his actions and has acknowledged the impact this has had on the person involved, for which he is genuinely remorseful. The Club will continue to support Dylan and work with him as he learns from this experience. We will now work with the NRL Integrity Unit on the next steps in finalising the matter. “
Dylan Brown made the following comments:
“Firstly, I want to unreservedly apologise to the person involved and the impact it has had on them. I am not proud of the behaviour I displayed, and I take full responsibility for my actions. Additionally, I want to apologise to everyone connected to the Club for the negative impact that this incident has caused, and I am committed to learning from this experience.”

Ok so the pleas were entered and he was sentenced the article this morning seemed to imply that hadn't happened yet. Ok he's essentially free to play but I'm sure the NRL will put a bit extra on it for good measure. Will be back well before finals though I reckon.
Go Dylbro, Go Parra - just stay out of Double Bay son nothing good ever happened after midnight for us westies there let me give you the tip
Why did you get done for groping too?
Cut it out Wile, Michael is a lawyer, he needs to grope around to feel a case......perfectly understandable Michael.
Leather case or some other type of skin
Not that I recall Wile E Coyote
Hope the NRL integrity are not to hard on young Dylan. I think he's more than likely learned from his mistake. It appears he's being remorseful about his actions.
He will get another few weeks I think
Really? He's already missed 3 weeks hasn't he? I don't see the point of another few weeks
Will be interesting to see what the NRL do now. I havnt read the no- fault stand down policy, but presumably it can only apply in circumstances where fault has not been determined (as the name suggests).
Therefore, it no longer applies because fault and sentencing have been dealt with.
Presumably, if the NRL elect to suspend him for more games, it can only do so on the proviso he has brought the game into disrepute.
Looking forward to a statement from NRL to clarify...
Maybe a 2 game suspension which will equal the 2 touch. Hopefully no suspension
