While it may look well inside our wall it's really to early to say how he's done well as we are still running nie on the bottom of the comp.Next yesr wil give us a better picture of how he's recruited.
Coryn, this is real left field stuff......how do you think Gilgai would go on an edge? eg. if we were talking to him and broached it and he reacted positively, then I reckon it could work.....he would have to be interested in the challenge. His loss of speed age wise is detrimental to chasing as purely a centre, but his speed on an edge and running a line would be very different.
He'd go great because he's experienced and he'd have experience inside and outside of him so in defense and attack he's a perfect fit.
Its the other side that's the worry we are remodeling it again when DB moves Katongas inexperienced Russell is doing his job and JaC is the constant a real left centre would make a huge difference.
You remember when Jennings was here well this is the sought of stability we need on that left side and we need it badly much like an experienced 6 wouldn't go amiss either.
Unless we inject similar talent to DB we need experience first and foremost at 6.
What player is Gilgai coming through the systems ploppo. I personally have never heard of him. Mate, you need to check your coffee strength may need an extra shot in the morning pop.
"Has a lot of issues going on off the field and lot of red flags. Don't think it's the way to go with our team in a rebuild at the moment. He'll be chasing 700k to 1 mill "
"We need a Rich Successful Bussiness Head (not in Construction or Dodgy, an old Money type) quality GM of Football and Head of Recruitment. We have the facilities and what seems to be a smart new gen Head Coach.
As much as it pains for me to Say…"
"Fongy previously said he was a good operator. Not knowing any different, I'll take that at face value.
But as you have stated, nothing seems to have changed at the pointy end."
