Today was a nightmare beyond reality , What we saw was a side smashing our forward pack backwards all game and humiliating us . The Warriors were at their best and must have made 200 meters just by pushing us backwards when we had the ball . That was a true indication of the forward pack we fielded. Our Defence was so poor that any teenage side would have busted through easily . Tonga, Norman, Kelly were especially bad today and had absolutely nothing to offer even though they are on good coin . BA made a huge mistake not playing hayne as he may have steadied the ship instead hayne was trimming his toe nails and taking over sandows poker machine for the day .

To not field your best player on such a crucial match will bite us even in for and against . Sandow simply cannot play Fullback but he at least was trying so we cant cry about sandow . Fui I expected him to grab the opportunity with both hands but he was so slow and offered nothing , he will not be playing 1st grade next week that's for sure . In the first 30 mins we had 20% of the ball and had made 28 missed tackles , we only made 250 meters in the first half which is so poor . The WARRIORS dominated and destroyed a team that were made to look like little boys .

Konrad Hurrell is a destroyer ( so eels management use your brains and go hard for him ) instead of wasting money on inu . The EELS never looked like scoring a point and watching closely as EELS players simply jogged and watched the Warriors putting on try after try was disgusting .

BA  has to now make a stand and set examples to all , experienced players Tonga .Norman , Kelly must be dropped for what was the worst display this season . While we have a very very slim hope to still make the top 8 , I for one do not want to see them make it only to produce that rubbish which is embarrassing .

Yes we have injuries and the loss of players like peats and hoppa are hurting us , Today it was clear that the warriors were well coached and heading to certain semis .

There is no excuses for the garbage that the EELS PRODUCED TODAY , We should be filthy and so too BA . The EELS have now not won since round 14 , some changes must be made .

The away record is shamefull and has been so for several seasons but that is no excuse . This is apparently a professional NRL team and is not the same side as 2012,2013 . They must play for themselves and each other and we saw none of that today . There was no harmony , no talking , and our halves were useless in a game that Kelly and Norman should have stood up in . How long does BA give these two ? Some talk on this site has been DCE , But reality is that if we don't have muscle in the engine room then it is no use buying DCE .

The only guy that had a real go is a young 18 year old and good on him , How Dare this eels team produce such rubbish !! This young fella tried hard in what was the worst ever game for the eels in recent years . We were made to look like a joke seriously .

I hope that players and the coach read this , and take a good long hard look at themselves . Yes they have done well this year but there is no excuse for todays effort or lack there of .

Will we see changes next Friday ? I don't know , but we cannot accept such a poor effort again . Next week we play a better side in the bunnies and they will pile on 70 easily if we don't cut out the garbage .

Eels had 2 weeks break , they should have been fresh and ready , we saw none of that .

CMON EELS , Enough is enough .   Start playing rugby league with heart and passion or we may as well save our salary cap and just play a wenty side .  I am so ashamed to watch a game like that .

If the players are not going to turn up and play their best then forfeit the game and don't turn up at all .

We may lose the 2 points and the club gets a fine but we don't get humiliated like that again .

Semi suspended next week will only hurt us more .

  • I have been ridiculed for saying it earlier in the week but the truth is BA waved the white flag when he announced the side on Tuesday. Its that simple. No Hayne, what kind of example did he give the players. And to not make an effort to at least join the squad over there is low even by his standards.

    • Frank I thought the same thing when I heard Hayne was not playing for no reason other than being rested. BA did concede this game. The Eels dished up exactly what I expected.

    • Totally agree Frank! you have the balls to come out and say how you see it!
  • Are you saying if Hayne played the score would ofbe different i say no not that much any way i say if hayne played we would of got beat by 30 nil or 38 nil hayne not that good come on WAKE UP

  • Can we stop acting like this loss has ended our season? We're still equal eighth you idiots. One loss isn't the be all and end all.
    • I agree super, if Penrith beat the broncos we will still be equal 7. No team and I mean no team in the nrl can compete with the amount of injuries we have at the moment. Four of our forwards are out and our two best backs. What did people expect?
  • Its time we stopped pretending we have a team of superstars. They are below average. They offer very little in attack and even less in defence, Its really time for Ricky plan two. Get rid of the under performers and buy someone who can play. Some of the young forwards are soft. They lack stamina and go missing when the going gets tough.

  • Nightmare on Church Street?

  • Yeah it was pretty obvious BA threw this match similar to DA last match vs Dragons in 2009 just before the finals. He rested Hindy and Hayne.

I'm sure he didn't expect to get flogged by so much though.

I said to a mate before kick off last night that the eels could be in for an absolute shellacking...hmmm.

    • Agreed BA conceded defeat before kick off but you cannot compare last night and 09 matches completely different circumstances!
