From my count at least 6 of the current top 25 will not be back in 2011. Mateo, Inu, Cayless, Grothe, KK, Wright.
This means we need to find at least 6 fist grade players to have a top squad. Given our u20s are rubbish we may only be able to grab a couple of youngsters from that group and our Wenty side is only average.
The next issue we face is Poore Hayne Tahu and Hindy take up almost half our cap. Two of those players Poore and Tahu are very bad buys. Tahu will have a worse 2011 than 2010 as he is not getting any younger faster or agile.
Our top 25 will include at least 6 maybe 8 VB cup level players. A long way from our depth of 2009 and the depth needed to compete for the top 4. Maybe we were over the cap because we are struggling to build a top 25 at the moment
