Hindy has come out and said that we did not play to game plan all year and that we need to go back to the drawing board and learn to grind out games.
Really ? Thats like saying we need to become professional rugby league players.
Our players are over hyped spoilt and pampered to and hence we play with no ball security or discipline.
Sterlo was giving it to Mateo all night saying how ill disciplined he is.
In the Tigers game with 7 minutes to go Cayless turns the ball over on the first tackle with us on full throttle attack. That is a symptom of a team without a plan when a veteran front rower plays off the top of his head when a quick play the ball would have won us the game.
Love the players all you want but we need to start by saying we ran 12th in a 15 team comp and that our players as individuals are not as talented as we may think. without a game plan and hard work we will not compete in 2011.
Some players will not be able to make the change to professional team based NRL: They are Inu Mateo Tahu. 2 out of 3 gone
Morts for mine needs a whole year in Wenty and with the salary cap we cant afford that. Look elsewhere head to the UK but we need to axe his contract.
Justin Poore is OK if you ignore his massive salary
Team built around Hayne, Mannah, Horo plus Hindy playing a Bob OReilly role from 1981. Through in 5-6 u20s and a coach who has control and gives us a game plan
Oh and as for Matt Keating the Dogs can have him for free in a Buy one get one Keating free deal

Oh, and if I ever hear "The Parramatta team has the most talent in the NRL" again... It has been said for the past 4 seasons. Clearly it is not the case.
it needs to be said how it is!!!!!
totally unacceptable this year
get ready for all the 'do gooders' on here though who will continue to say 'believe' and 'be positive' bla bla bla
2010 was a joke - attitude pathetic - they do not play for their fans or their jersey
a team capable of winning the comp finishes 12th or 13th is a disgrace
We have all had to endure your negativity for essentially the whole season. It is boring, it is tiresome, on times borders on aggressive and most of the time is out of line. Yet you are entitled to support the Eels in this manner if you want to.
I'm afraid though, I will not sit idly by and let you criticise those of us who choose to live life by the motto 'the glass is half empty, not half full'. While this year has been extremely disappointing, I have had so much fun and enjoyed myself so tremendously. As per usual the Eels have given me a great sense of joy.
So criticise all you like - but don't make fun of those who 'believe' and are 'positive', because we have the talent in our side. This year simply was not our year.
i expect far better from a potential premiership winning team
I watched Parramatta throughout the early 90s and falsely believed that we had the best team in the competition because of all of the local juniors in the team. Reality was, there were better players around and the team management and fans were so deluded that we had almost a decade of bad results.
Unfortunately your support of KK who has bee ok at best in first grade, smacks of the same mentality.
We need to inject some new blood, including some quality, proven first graders to compliment our young talent.
And ATTITUDE has been a problem for most of the year.
but where is it?
again 100% agree our attitude has been the biggest problem all year
ive never been an active supporter of KK - i think he is an ok player, but what is better out there for his price range???? around 150 - 180 grand? happily see someone else there but he is gone and not replaced at all to date - that is my only issue with KK situation
I may have been overly positive about him, but you will note that I really do tend to be like that in regard to most of our players.
I only staunchly defend KK because he is not the reason our season went down the gurgler, people often criticise him when he has been playing out of position all year and regardless of how he has performed this year, he still shows more skill in the halves position than Morts does.
That is all I am saying.
