The Parramatta National Rugby League Club (PNRL) announced today that Kenny Edwards has been asked to appear in Fairfield District Court this Tuesday regarding a traffic incident earlier this month.

The Club was only made aware of the incident and the pending court matter last Friday evening and has alerted the NRL Integrity Unit.

The Club will make no further comment until after Tuesday’s court appearance and once our Club’s internal investigation regarding the circumstances of the incident is completed.

  • He’ll get 6 weeks for bring the game down. Even though, everyone seems to get off.
I never saw Proctor and Bromwich get anything for snorting coke.
  • Sack him, repeat offender.

    • Thing is we really need his energy on the park, we dont have many high energy forwards.

If Kenny left us i think he'd kill it for somebody else, im certain of that.

      • 100% Snake.

Massive Kenny fan here, we can’t let him go anywhere.

    • I agree snake but this may twist the clubs hand. Hopefully there is someone in the lower grades ready to go with same energy but less brain snaps. What happen to Faainga?
  • What sort of traffic infringement requires you to see a judge a week or two later?

  • Not good timing for Kenny. Based on his constantly predictable brain explosions I was hoping for him to be dropped. You can’t win games with guys who consistently put your own side under pressure due to their stupidity.

Now you can throw in this as well?

If guilty I’d be moving him on.

      • He wouldn’t survive at the Storm, Roosters etc. I hear what you’re saying about breaking even but it’s not what you need if you want to win a comp.

  • Kenny needs at least 2 years at silverwater jail to sort himself out .

  • If he has broken the laws of the land then the legal justice system can deal with him.

This has nothing to do with him being an NRL player and should be left separate.

It always amazes me how people on here constantly celebrate the misfortunes of indiscretions of people and immediately call for the harshest punishment without knowing any of the facts or how any of it is relevant to a game of rugby league.
