            • Depends on his physical development. Currently struggles in contact in defence and cannot bend the line due to his physical abilities. If he gains more leg speed and power he will be an NRL 13.

  • Sou d's like we have some big fish lined up for June 30. Dylan has been great but maybe his body is letting him down. His game and body maybe be more suited to super league. Might be some light yet for us suffering parramatta supporters.

  • Yeah can see this being a contract for him to retire o; and yeah good on him.

As others have said we had better have some decent signings in the pipeline for 27 or we are going to be in for more pain aka Clubber Lang styles...

  • No use sugar coating this, I see the Roosters are releasing a few players this year, and maybe a few in the future, I don't see them going at anything other than top talent. They are ruthless & will release any player to get their man, they recruit talent, not rejects from other clubs, we need to be better.

    • If you listen to the Paul Kent podcast he lays it out perfectly. The Roosters have 2029 already set with their top 30, give or take a 2-3 spots incase someone comes on the market they want. They have the plan of like say Watson is going, this player replaces him. Teddy retires, this player replaces him.

Robbo in 2016 had a bad year but before it he said to Politis we can have an ok year for the next 3-5 years, make finals, maybe a top 4 but more likely do not win a comp or we can fluke this season, get our cap right and be dominant next year. Politis threw 2016 to get the cap right. They went back to back in 2018-19.

  • Maybe looking at Connor Watson?

    • I see him as a bit of a ball hog this year. Not distributing well. Goes hard but I doubt we go after him.

    • I wouldn't mind him, but already pretty much confirmed off to Saints for a year then PNG.

  • Geeze, if there's one player who deserves a contract it's Walker. Feels like our attack comes alive when he's on and our halves get connected to the ball much better. I don't see Hopgood, Guymer or Doorey as good Lock options, and are better suited to the forwards as runners. While Guymer does offer flexibility, he doesn't really break the line much and is easy to get down.

    • I think Hopgoods the guy at 13 is first year here his ball playing nd off loading was on point. Now that his role has changed he's had to put it ll away.I've kind of always thought Hopgood was the future 13 going foward and that's the guy I'd be putting back there.

The worry is we need those middles to come through and we need to hit on Talataina at 6 so we only have to go to market for outside backs.

"Thing about Donaghoe at the moment is he is a tweener. Not 100% sure what his best position is. He has played the positions you mentioned but doesn't really excel in any. That is perfect for us as his role is simply that link man and mr.fix it.…"

"Edwards i would say is more a Lock than a Hooker but yeah he is more a tackle machine that can play Hooker if really needed. Nice 18th man option."
