He has definitely been a great player for us and will be a loss. Turns 32 in September and obviously wants the security of a 2-3 year deal. Doesn't sound like he is happy with a 1 year extension. Which is fair enough from both parties.
Forwards can decline quickly at this age. He hasn't been as effective this year. I reckon that's partly due to not having Tuivati and Doorey consistently in the rotation with him.
Shame they're not extending his contract for at least another year. He hasn't been as impactful this year as much as last year but maybe that's because he knew his contract wasn't being extended

Often wonder the amounts a player like Dylan for eg would sign on for over there? Given their cap is so much less than ours, it can't be much?
Do not think he has been that good this year.
Maybe due to him not being repayed with an offer worthy of his contribution . Maybe this isn't the case , but it would explain his drop in form. He can't be accused of not having a red hot dig .

Two things about Dylan Walker for me-
1- that we've never tried him at any other position eg 5/8 or centre when we've been desperate for both these posis over last couple of years. Guaranteed he wouldve shat on pezet for one at 5/8th.
2- thst we have deemed him not up to it quite early this year by reports we aren't re-signing. Truly as is we don't need his versatility and experience with our young ones. Just don't get it.
