Just watched his press conference on the eels site and was certainly impressed. I always had him marked as a meat head, boy was I surprised!
The move is all about being around family and a role model to his kid/s. Grew up playing with mitch and in my opinion what we are lacking in leadership, he will add so much in and around the ruck. Comes on and spells hopgood and starts the running game.
Very keen to see how he goes this weekend. A good signing by ryles.

We need more hard edge type players for me to surround the younger ones in the squad.
Im sure Ryles has a plan of things for 2026, and only hope the Retention committee are on the same bus...
Ryles definately has plans for 2026. As apparent by how he is using Iongi, Smith and Tuivaiti. More fascinating to me is who he wants at 5/8.
Let's hope his plan to replace DB starts this year and not next. If he's not planning on buying an established no.6 next year, he really needs to blood a young kid now, rather than waste a whole year. Happy to see DB play centre or off the bench while Ryles give someone else a go in no.6
Knights would be secretly loving how Ryles is helping them establish DB into a halfback atm.
I would give Josh Lynn a crack for a few games
Yep I reckon there's a very good chance he'll play some NRL during the season.
Agree, there's definitely a maturity to Dylan walker that took me by surprise - great signing and the squad will benefit from his experience.
He does play only one way ....hopefully he can help us out
