Dylan Brown‘s management meets with dolphins

AF47F16D-AC7E-4492-92AB-EE3597A1E1E0.pngApparently Dylan Brown management has met with the Dolphins. They are prepared to pay 1 million minimum. There is also rumours on Social media suggestioning  Parramatta have to choose Mitchell Moses or Dylan Brown?. I for the love of god cannot understand this and where has all our money gone? Losing all the players last year surely meant we have enough to offer brown and Moses what they are happy with. Have we got something to be worried about or is the media just blowing smoke l?

    • The more important question is, if these guys were on such small contracts, where are we over spending that we don't have enough coin to retain our star players.

Have we invested to much in our forwards?

Have we invested to much in our outside backs?

      Where is the money going?

      • That's my point

    • the nrl have offered an 11 mill cap instead of 9.6 i think that provides the room

    • I think you nailed it mate. I don't think the Eels have as much salary cap dollars as some are thinking. Some are based on future Salary cap rises.

  • It all feels abit groundhog day from the Reed situation

Like Dylan I didn't think Reed whould leave

Like Reed it drags on and suddenly meetings between managers get linked.

If history repeats then heads should roll

    • Yep

      • Losing Reed will not hurt us, his replacement and in turn his replacement may.

  • Gee, we talk a lot about money. Lots of people don,t have a lot of it but can still make a life worth  living.

    • Maybe it will help players' ego if they have their annual contract earnings printed on their jersey.  Extra motivation for other less-paid players to play better? geez, we can do better when life is so fixed on a false God

  • Its all media stuff; we will wait and see what happens. If he chooses to go for cash of the Snake in Pants Benny then good on him; life will go on; but if we low ball which I doubt then the club could be in strife; my money is on him staying and MM too.

He is not worth $1 million and this alone would be on potential for me; Has Pongia changed Newcastle?
