Parramatta coach Jason Ryles has just 10 rounds of football to win over brilliant five-eighth Dylan Brown next season.
Brown was the Eels' best player in 2031, taking over the playmaking reins when star halfback Mitchell Moses was injured.
The Kiwi-born pivot is under contract until 2031, but has a unique get out clause for 2026 midway through next season if he is not happy with the new-look Eels.
If the new Southern Orcas Christchurch bid succeeds. Brown will be a massive marquee signing. I have no doubt he would want to go back to NZ for this new club.
While the contract's option appeared to end in 2031, Brown has the chance to either not re-up or renegotiate in 2026 and 2028, with deal locking him definitely through to the end of 2025.
"We want the best team on the field in 2026 to try and make finals as we need to continue to improve as a team. Is Pezet a better 5/8 option then Joash for 2026, I think he is and he also provides us the best option if Moses gets injured or plays…"

I think Parra would have known if his a chance of
leaving anytime soon, if it was true I don't think they would have let go of Talagi they would've promised him the 6 in a years time.
If he goes, he goes.
Moses is more important.
Meh
Nup
he will only go to the warriors if he was to leave
I agree with that.
They're the only ones left that'd be silly enough to throw Parramatta money at him.
