Dylan Brown open to offers

The SMH is reporting that Dylan Brown's management has circulated an email to rival clubs for an expression of interest in the playmaker.

The five-eighth has a player option in his favour for the 2026 season but is yet to enact it.

The Eels have until round 10 to either convince Brown to activate his option or have him sign a new contract removing the player option clauses.

        • And I think you might find Ryles won't put up with Dylan and his mangers noise for too long. I think Dylan will regret this noise.

          • Ryles is drulling over what he can do with dB money

      • What baffles me is Orr is putting it out there as like "Come and get him if you want him" yet with him being free to talk since November, as far as i am sure even though he has an option til round 10, you cannot convince me at least 1-2 clubs have not spoken to him about Brown already. Not sure if it is common practice for an agent to put ads about clients to all 16 teams but for someone like Brown, who he considers a franchise player, surely other clubs know his situation and wanted to start the process ASAP.

Plus here is another thing, as you mention coach change. Chris Orr is Brown's manager. Gavin Orr is BA's manager. Chris mentioned in the email to reply to him or Gavin, so it seems Chris and Gavin sort of work together. Now, tin foil hat, but we are all human is Orr doing a bit of Isaac Moses type rubbish with the club after we sacked BA? Just a thought. Could be way off but Orr's managed BA and also Brown. Brown was super close to BA, fair enough.

        • And now Orr is apparently complaining that his email has been released to the public. So his either dumb or full of shit, what he didn't think after sending a email to 20 odd recipients it would not be leaked. Realy.

          • He is playing the game, he is saying the things we all expected. Same as people knocking Parra over their statement what do you expect them to say?

        • the orr brothers are running a joint business

          • I gathered that.

      • Sen radio is hardly a barometer for anything, they certainly are not Parramatta supporters driving the microphones. They are a peerfect example of social media on radio. The quality of their editorials is poor to say the least.

        • You are not a barometer for anything

          • good stuff Randolph....your too good for me!

"Better than that, include penalties for breaking contracts in all player contracts and ensure both players and Agents pay a price. That will then at least make players second guess running out on a club."
