The difference here is everyone is doing there job around him and here in lies the difference it's no different to any other half. With the kiwis he has a defined role and he does his role.
He has traits to be a 7 he just isn't one yet. He's what Moses was 5-6 years ago he could run a game to save his life but look what he is now.
I have no doubt Holbrook at Newcastle will see this and he'll be used correctly or will have a plan for best usage.Regardless he's not our player now he's Newcastles good luck to him.
Halves do age very well. Benji was a livewire then towards the end of his career became that Walker type role for Souths, he was an organiser and very creative in picking teams a part.
Though will he have the players around him at Newcastle? With his and Ponga's salary, loss of Thompson in the middle and ageing middle with Frizell, an ok Hooker in Crossland and losing KPP on one edge, there is not a lot there in the forwards to work with except for Lucas who is a weapon.
If it due to the people around him then why does Moses make such a difference to our team ? Do people only do their jobs when Moses plays ? Or is it because Dylan needs to be in a star team to be affective ? There's nothing wrong with the latter , you just can't expect to be paid top dollar..

He doesn't did you see the previous year when He came back we didnt win with Moses.
You watch any of these good halves for them to win people around them need to do there jobs that's footy 101.
Heres one go back 5 years ago and have a look how great Moses was when he was DBs age 😂 go on and tell me why Moses wasn't winning games back then.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFLHJTV-ZaIGood on you Brent Read, hoping and praying that Ryles has a clause of some sorts to go to Melbourne, he can see the clicks if he leaves Parramatta. Riccio and Caryannis has half a brain it seems to say that…

He would need to do that every single week if he was to live up to the 1.4million price tag
and we all know what happens in big club games
It's like some people think he is either not good at all or never plays well. The bloke can play, he is talented and is a very good football player.
Consistency is his issue and his talent is suited to being a 5/8, not a Halfback.
Sandon Smith will play halfback
And where will Fletcher Sharpe play? wont play 1, wont be playing 6 apprently to that comment.
I doubt they move Sharpe, plus Brailey left and Crossland is that 9/14 option. Smith could very well be a 14.
They might start with brown at 7, but save for injuries Smith will be the 7 quickly when they realise it isnt working.
The Newcastle spine will be what Holbrook says it will be.
Interesting times in the Hunter they are a new rebuilding side and much like us they'll have there bumps along the way.
