I thought young Blaize was very good yesterday too. He nearly took that game by the scruff of the neck and won it for Samoa, if only Mariner could catch and/or pass Samoa probably wins. That sideline conversion from Blaize for a player that doesn't kick regularly was outstanding.
Talagi has talent. But his lateral defence and decision-making is a weakness. He was a weak-link in Penrith's vulnerable left-edge. In his last 3 games, including against NZ he missed 22 tackles (10,6,6) along with plenty of ineffective tackles (6 missed, 4 ineffective vs NZ).
Was a great game and can't say I was a little salty thst both sixes were ours. They both played huge rolls.
yep that kick in context also was an absolute pearler. The kid has huge faith in himself.
if I was old mal I'd be targeting Blaize big time for wawa team.

Blaise has been good most of the year for Riff.
No difference it's just a time thing but I agree he was good last night and isn't over awed playing on the big stage.
Much like Brown there no longer our players and I think because alot dig the hole so deep on a given player they can't bring themselves to say anything positive because it destroys there narrative. The fact they are also playing there trades elsewhere god help if they become successful and we are still languishing in mediocrity.
I thought the kiwis deadset stole that game in that first 20 minutes of the second half the Samoan side were winning the arm wrestle and created at least 3 opportunities they blew.Kiwis just took there opportunity in the second half when it arose.
"Even if he played like he did for the Kiwis on Sunday he still wouldn't be worth 1.3 Million for 10 years. It's the worst deal in the history of the NRL "
"The thing is Hoe, does a club spend 1.4 million dollars a season on a time - will - tell player? Sure he has that great running game and good defence, but its a huge risk. Its not a calculated risk. Its a move that could destroy a club for…"

Dont say that AE. Talagi is a shit and overrated player on this site.
Yeah but they are just plain wrong!
reckon he'll be up there with very best of them sooner than usual for a young one. Expiierencing a gf in his first year will go a looong way too!
