Yeah solid in defence, not much happening in attack. Ball didn't come his way a lot. There was a moment he could of set up his winger with a tap on but was unable to execute it.
JR mentioned in the press conference that DB struggled to know how to get the ball at centre so they will be practicing that at training. But JR was happy with his defence
He didn't need to do anything else he hasn't been asked to do.
Him Williams and JAC locked up there edge.
In attack with Hawkins and Moses playing left and right the opportunities were rare for the players on the left as most last kick options either went deep into the left corner or up n the air for Lomax.
If we want more from Brown and that left side Moses is going to have to swing both sides of the ruck.
Ive always said this when Brown was in the halves the best this team looked in attack was when Moses & Brown passed to one another in the same attacking movement. We've gone away from that we use Walker as the fulcrum and Moses and Hawkins as 2nd receivers outside the attacking zone and left and right halves inside it.
I agree Moses needs to play both sides a lot more.
Hawkins was caught 4 times with the ball. His not deep enough or talking to his outside men. And a number of times he should of kicked in behind the defenders for Fox or Brown.
I think Ryles making a huge mistake in not going all out on finding a experienced six. It is and will cost the Eels.
Ado Carr and Brown were starved of the ball ,the ball kept going left when operturnity to send it left weren't taken, parra we're lucky to win because some rather dumb football I thought

He defended well but was unsure how to get involved in attack

Defensively great to be honest, but needs to take some of the tough runs from our end like Sean and Bailey do. Probably not used to any of that.
Like he wasn't there. Didn't do much in terms of attack
Did his job that's it.
