  • In response to recent speculation about Dylan Brown, the Parramatta Eels Club can confirm Dylan is under contract to our Club until the end of the 2020 season.

  • Now time to stop bad mouthing our club and Bernie about being a developmental club when a little speculation hits.

  • That's good news and well done to Bernie Gurr for being forthcoming with the fans.
    • Agree mate, he tries to lead the club in the right direction and some clowns on this website always try and sugar coat it negatively & bad mouth the guy. Fact is he is a very smart operator & businessman, he’s easily the best CEO the club has had in years.

        • Fong, one cannot right the wrongs of the past overnight. Change takes time commitment and courage to remain steadfast amongst all the doubt and negativity of the naysayers.

I joined this site about a year ago as a mad Parra fan seeking to support a club I have been supporting since I was six. I’m approaching fifty now and and have seen great times and way too much frustration.

For mine Bernie is a breath of fresh air. I agree with what James said.... a business man with credentials and runs on the board is what the clubs needs to build culture from the board down...after all,  a fish rots at the head.

2019 will be a vast improvement. The real results and the efforts of OUR board will be seen and felt from 2020 onwards.

It’s time for unity and belief and a club and support group united.... or stop cruising and get of the fucking ‘coach’!

  • I thought better of Brent Read, won't make that mistake again.

  • Contracts mean nothing, actually a worrying statement that thats all that was said.

This is the exact type of statement clubs put out when a players not happy and looking to go elsewhere, ive seen it a thousand times.

    • There was no release that Dylan was looking elsewhere unlike Gareth Widdop.
This is purely a statement regarding the length of his contract.
    • Yes but by the same token I’ve seen where there has been no issues a thousand times with that same statement. At the end of the day these guys are not journalist but rumour mongers that spread bullshit for clickbait and  who are right one in a thousand times. They then explain the incorrect ones with a change of mind or  amend rumour and move it a different direction .

    • Well Ok then, if you were Bernie what would you have said in the statement ?
