Yep, after just agreeing to pay Walker $1.1m a season, they'll have room for Hunt. The only Australian rep player on $200k apparently. Nothing would surprise me with the Rorters.

I read that most clubs and especially Qld clubs would struggle to fit him in the cap.
Unless broncos sack Ezra which is unlikely then us releasing Gutho and Hunt playing hooker is an option or Super League. Would depend on his relationship with Lomax and Moses in Aussie camp I suppose.
The only other real option is bulldogs in a questionable contract after all their signings. They will point towards JAC leaving as cap space but he is on half of Hunt's contract or Roosters sombrero.

That is why I said his options are limited. Without dragons paying some value not many clubs could afford close to his asking price. I think he would want at least $750k or go to superleague where he gets that plus more.
If we get him for $750k as a hooker and Gutho leaves we have extra cap space and quality hooker making us stronger than this year. Hunt has chance of playing finals similar to when Brooks left tigers but it will depend on his family and if they want to move to England for a year or 2.
Even if we get him for 1 year until someone like Robson or a young gun hooker come available and Hunt can move back to Qld it is win for him and win for parra.
