Dragons v Sharks absolute stupidity from the NRL!!

Sloan competes for the ball on his own tryline , makes a great try saving tackle and not only gets penalised the sharks get awarded incorrectly a penalty try! This once great game is an absolute joke.

  • Much like this thread you use the same word stupidity that describes yourself to a tee.

    • You forgot to tell him that you really, really want him to "fark" himself,  and, like, how really really seriously you want him to do it

  • I agree with you that the NRL is stupid. However I will disagree that the penalty try was awarded incorrectly, by the rule that is the correct decision. It's a stupid rule and years ago when they changed it that you couldn't tackle the attacking player in the air I pointed out the reasons it was stupid. Unfortunately there was not a lot of like minded people.

  • Hi Mick and thanks for your blog. It is a shame that people on this site cannot treat others with respect. I think this decision is also wrong. It is also inconsistent in the interpretation. This should not have been a penalty try. The defender still had his arm wrapped around the ball until the player hit the ground. If the referee review disagrees then the law needs modifying quickly. This should be about a dangerous tackle and this was clearly not dangerous. Addo Car had the same thing happen a few weeks back and it was not even penalised.
