Does mateo have a "get out clause" in his contract if ando is sacked?

If ando is sacked, i wonder if Mateo has a get out clause in his contract?

 

There have been some infamous examples in the past where players have signed on for another club but for some reason have not honoured the contract. Ruben Wiki was one exmaple, and more recently Steve Turner..

 

Can anyone confirm this?

    Wouldn't be sure if he did have such a clause to be honest.

    he can seek a release if he gets home sick, or for family reasons eg, his mrs getting home sick. It usually happens to guys going to Europe, but he is not assured a release.

    I hope he does well at his new club, and represents NSW next year, we will buy him back for 500000 a season haha

    Well it was something that was discussed in a different post earlier in the year and someone supposeably said he did have one. Cannot remember though!

    hahha wow mateo must feel so good reading these forums. We're all in huge denial about him leaving, and its obvious only a tiny handful are actually happy about it. I hope theres a get out clause for both him and inu. I want to see them in the blue and gold :(

    I hope he has a great year for the warriors next season and proves how valuable a player he is to any team. Can see him playing very well off maloney. How did maloney get away from the eels?????

    This is one of the reasons that we havent won a premiership for over 25 years ! We hang onto players with 'potential'. Dont you think Mateo had enough chances to show his worth ? Its a real pity he realised this too late....
