I'll broach the elephant in the room. Parra's last game of 2025 (barring a miracle) is on Sunday the 7th of September at 4pm against the Knights at CommBank.
Do we give Dylan Brown one final send off before he heads to the Hunter with his squillions? A final lap of honour after the siren?
Whatever you think of him, he's been a loyal servant to the club for the past eight years.
Alternatively, we continue to ignore him and pretend the whole thing never happened.
Thoughts?

He'll probably get a send off from the club at our last home game like we have for every player that is known to be leaving. I don't think he needs anything special. He's made a financial decision for himself, fans aren't under any obligation to celebrate it.
No he does not. If he is good enough then he should be selected. As for any favours in playing a final game at Commbank, he can ggf. We owe him nothing.
Did Fui get a send off?
From The Daily Tele back in 2014....
PARRAMATTA cult figure Fuifui Moimoi walked out on Eels training on Tuesday, and later told friends and teammates he was “shattered”, after learning he will not make a farewell appearance at Parramatta Stadium this Friday night.
The Daily Telegraph understands Moimoi, who remains unsigned for next season, failed to finish a gym session after coach Brad Arthur revealed he would be 18th man for the blockbuster Friday Night Football clash with Manly.
It's come out that BA didn't exactly handle some player departures tactfully. Tim Mannah spoke of being frozen out by Brad at the back end of his career. Ben Smith was in the same boat.
Unlike Ryles who simply comes out and just tells players where they stand. Nathan Brown would be in that boat, along with Bevan French too. Tim Mannah apprently as said from himself did not know how to get back into the FG team and was told he can go then when he was about to sign with Wests it pulled last minute.
He hasnt played very well for about 3 years. Thats a long time.
Over the years other natural five/eighths such as Maloney, Soward, Luai, Fittler found ways to function in the absence of their halfbacks, but Fact is Brown failed.
You could argue moses absence coincided with a form drop of our entire team since the GF though so he has had a bad team to work with.
Its a hard one, but I still think he is the best option at 6 right now and should be picked if fit for the rest of the year. I get we are working towards the future but I dont want the spoon for that purpose.
He can have the same farewell as any player leaving a club
He will play against us for the next 10 years. If all goes well for him he will have more games with the knights then us.
A big farewell for player at the end of his career im good with a young bloke leaving for big money no he doesn't deserve a big send off.
Not sour grapes I understand him taken the money be stupid not to but he didn't handle it in a way that showed he respected the club so why make a fuss?
No, he's hardly a club icon or a grand final winner . I think fairwells should only be reserved for any players that would be invited back for any kind of celebration type event. He won't be. Just another player that'll be been and gone and rarely spoken about again in history.
If a players leaving and he warrants selection , so be it. If not , too bad. Walk a lap before and after the game and wave to the kids .
Imagine we are playing the Knights in the last round for the Spoonbowl, there is an injury crisis, Blown is picked at 6 and plays the game of his life to help the Eels avoid the spoon. Ahh the irony.
Anyway I doubt any of that will happen. Good luck to him, he's taken up an offer that was pretty irresistable, and I don't see it working out for him or the Knights in the long run. Does he deserve a farewell game, no.
