He's worth more than we are paying him so he's been an excellent addition to our roster. The definition of "good value ".
For that very reason this blog will get virtually no attention. There will be no acknowledgement of the good work done to bring Williams, Walker, addo Carr, de Belin etc to our club.
All the focus is on why we didn't surpass the dragons ridiculous offer to get KK which would have ruined us on so many levels.
For what it's worth Eli, I've enjoyed reading your comments on these two blogs. Good stuff
He has swum against the tide and stayed firm on his reasonable opinion, despite copping a pasting for it....and he never sooks not once. Bravo Eli

I think Ryles is just a very measured head coach. He's offloaded a lot of overpaid and old players who aren't really all the way bought in. I don't see the point in overpaying players who aren't committed or are just looking for a money grab. Even a guy like Dylan Walker, small salary but very big impact.
I hope we will be able to add JDB to the list of astute purchases....and if Kelly pans out that will confirm that Ryles has a talent for it

I think Kelly might have a career season under Ryles and playing next to ado Carr, rate that signing. JDB might be more a mentor role for the younger middles and play 25-30 min a game. Cheap but can't hurt you

Your blog asks how much Williams is on (no-one really knows) then assert that DeBelin is cheap. How much is he on?

It can't be much he's near retirement, not even sure he'll make our 17 😂 be shocked if it's over 500k

Adam I totally agree with your post. I have absolute faith in Ryles and am in love for the future for Parra. I just don't get the perennial gloom of most people on this site. Paying $1 million for a 35 year old prop does not make sense and the reactions on OEE were curious to say the least.
"100% correct , Tank. They've left as they've become bored. I still talk with quite a few old posters who livened the place up who have now left and they just got bored and fed up for various reasons. These guys had stuck around during far worse…"
"The reason being is because you could go through any club in the nrl and find players like your mentioning and that and coaching get you so far.
Parras issue is they lost Lomax Brown Talagi Sanders are going to lose Pezet and Russell and don't have…"

Could be way off but I believe I heard once he was on $400-500k
Going rate for a starter.
Unreal value. His production is worth 800k easy 😂
