I think $3.10 h2h is good odds.
Panthers have to lose at some point and our boys will certainly be up for it. RCG, Blake, Sivo and Jennings all coming up against their old club (same as Smith if he plays), plus Moses will lift against Cleary.
I'm optimistic of an upset.

Beat them? Do you watch our games?
Other teams seem to be able to generate overlaps against us at will by simply passing the ball along the backline. Even when the warriors were down to 12 men in one set they went left, created an everlap, came back to the right and had an overlap. If you haven't watched the Panthers play I can tell you their backline movements very different to ours. They have players running good lines and players in motion, they don't overrun their playmakers and get in each others way .
I am just hoping we don't get 30+ put on us and we are ridiculed. Our only hope is a huge lift in intenstiy by our forwards and they somehow get on top. Watching our games pre Moses getting injured and post are chalk and cheese. Our attack is not even in the top 8 of the NRL.
Whether we are up for this game or not will be answered in the first five minutes with how fast our defensive line is moving. It has been in slow motion for some time now compared to teams like Panthers, Roosters, Storm, and even the Raiders and Rabbits.
It is no coincidence our odds have fallen from $4 to win the premiership to $12.50.
Looks like only 4 teams have been able to beat us so far this year. That's a better record than 13 other teams. If our defence was that bad we would not be coming third.
Yep. The Warriors rarely sent the ball wide and when they did you could see the Eels ended up a man or two short to cover. The poor sliding defence scares me and gives me nightmares. There's a good post by Prof. Daz showing the man inside our centres don't slide, which ends in an overlap. Arthur really needs to work on this, insisting our halves or 2nd rowers slide correctly.
Your reply is inconsistent.
You open with "do you watch our games?", then point out obvious deficiencies which have maligned the team for weeks in an effort to say we are no chance at all of winning, before levelling out with the each way rider "our only hope is a huge lift in intensity... whether or not we are up for the game will be determined in the first 5 minutes".
I'm optimistic of a huge lift in intensity. That was the point of acknowledging how many former Penrith players are on our books, as well as the fact that Moses will take the battle personally...
We had to beat the warriors last week so that a top 4 spot is more or less assured. That was one of the most important wins of our season last week and will give us some confidence back I think. Expecting a much improved performance this week. I think it will be a really good game.
The more important game is against the Tigers, it will be a huge game for them as it will be Benji's last game. This will determine if we finish 4th or 5th.
We definitely win at least one of the tigers Broncs games but there is a fair chance we wont even need to win again to finish top 4
