Jerome Luai has a week to seal the deal at the Chief's, 2 million per season tax free. He'll take it . He'll become the richest player in the league by the length of tge straight. D Brown would be earning 650 k after tax.
He'll become a free agent for 2027 - a gap.year essentially.
Should the club take Luai for a season, thus giving Lorenzo Talititiana another year to prepare.
Its looking more like Lorenzo is the man. Joash has played mainly fb in both cup and Nrl so it looks as if Ryles not pinning his hopes on him.
Would you take Luai??

Surely playing either off the bench for 20mins or so would only help their development.
Yep they need cup time. Hopefully very soon
No thanks
Why doesn't he ust stay in Tigers for this gap year?
I won't say no to it but I'd rather throw Lorenzo honestly.
No thanks no more 1 year deals they are stupid as was the current one you need to settle on a 6 and stick to it
No chance zero nada I don't know why we bring this up.
Jerome is looking for a payday here and he'll most definitely get it.
If PNG throw 2 mill per at him see ya not as though we are seriously in the conversation.
Mad if they dont
No.
Buying Luai for a short-term solution will just disrupt our salary cap and completely blow any depth we need to build in the development players. He's looking at the Chiefs because he can earn significantly more money than what any NRL club can offer, and his role is pretty much being handled by Douhi and the other young half. There is absolutely no reason for him to come to Parra for just 1 year, he's better off staying at the Tigers to be the top dog and continue his leadership development under Benji.
too late chiefy he is a kammal now lol
So if he's going to play for PNG it would mean I'd imagine that he'd have to live in PNG.. Its not the place I'd personally like to live no matter how much coin you're on
