I think it's fair to say the NRL has it in for us.

No 6 agains for the Eels every game.

This game with a few minutes to go, the ref clearly calls the marker not square on a delayed call, the Eels challenge and he says you can't challenge, it was a 10m penalty, bruh what???

In the first half, he calls the worst forward pass call ever!!!

On the dropout, he clearly calls Brain Kelly offside???

How M-fer, here is a still...

    • There was a play, I think Eels last set close to Raiders line where Tapine was so far offside, he was almost with the Eels attack - it was blantantly obvious yet they refused to call anything

  • Yeah Freddie Mercury was very average.

    • Agree with all this....I would like to see an objective review of the game and privately present to the refs admin. Then somebody should leak it, so it doesn't seem to be leaked by Parra.

      • Good idea

  • Gees we had some bad calls last night. I watched the game again this morning and the comments in this blog re the forward pass, dropout,  tapine offside etc are absolutely spot on. There was 3 six agains given to Canberra on the 4th or 5th tackle that were definitely not six agains (watch the first one given in the first 5 mins) then the penalty around the 13th minute for being offside-which they weren't so then he changed it to a high tackle on big red (cat).
Separate to the above, Brian Kelly is really starting to play some good footy. Terrible to start the year but some very classy plays last night

    • We won it defending our line well in the first 15 minutes.

In that first period alone, we should have revived multiple 6 agains for ruck infringements however Ziggy saw nothing.

EA replied to Eli Stephens's discussion Should we keep Kelma?
"The problem for Kelma is we have been saying how good he could be for how many seasons now? Kind of loosing patience with him. 1 year deal is all I would offer and as some have said, explore him as a middle too."

"Richie Penisni has been named in JF but there is also an outside back on the JF bench in Howlett. Not sure what's going on. Richie is easily better than Alamadine, Hill and Vaivelia. Perhaps easing the injury prone player in?"

"I think Kelma could be developed into a front row if we don't resign Junior. Keep his game simple. He has more upside than Morretti. "
