Just read gallen in doubt due to a knee injury. Wondering if its related to his recent kneeing in the head incidents against the eels and bunnies. Allgoods head and Burgos rock melon doing the damage, or was it karma ?

  • Unfortunately players have been targeting Gallen lately and deliberately head-butting his knee so that they can:

    a) Claim a penalty, as though Gallen has kneed them, and

    b) Injure him.

I just can't believe that the dirty tactics of Allgood and Taylor could result in the mighty Sharkies not having our heroic captain out on the field against the Storm tomorrow.

Oh, the shame of it. The NRL really need to crack down on these grubs.

    :gal:

    • It's Funny sharkies that they were talking on the footy show about players taking dives and stuff and someone brought up the winker which was gallen and everyone did not say it was gallen who took that dive
  • I didn't watch the footy show, so can't really comment on it but I will say even though I don't like any players laying there milking a penalty, I can certainly understand why they'd do it.

A penalty can so often mean the difference between a win or a loss in these tight games, so you can't really blame the players for having a go when they think they can get away with it.
