Designing Your Own Website

Is this easy, cause it seems complicated. I want to design my own site for pics and stats on rugby league, but I just went to Dymocks book store and read a manual called web design for dummies, but it looks difficult. I went onto wix.com and started but that's hard too.

 

Any idea?
