I am starting to think we have the dumbest supporters on here .... watched they way we  manouvre and undermine any failures.

The relentless criticism and then the undermining of the coach, front office etc indicates some people cannot just understand the current problems.

Players were pretty pathetic today and I honestly think with the injuries and dislocation of being maimed that we will be lucky to win another game this season......Can we fix it, I doubt it, it is not an actual lack of effort it is more a lack of ability.

We have two backs with any pace and real class, both obviously carried injuries, you  all being such determined critics out there realising Moses could not run, or place kick. JAC's ribs are so heavily strapped he had problems breathing. Joash Pappilli tried hard, never dropped a high ball but had no support, Penisini has come back early from injury, Kelly is just a pathetic mess from a once competent player, Volkman was honest and the debut winger also honest. Realistically both Volkman and the new kid are not first graders. You can use players like that in one off's but not as regular first graders. It really was a non existent backline and the length of field tries that were put on us reflects that.

Our forwards I cannot defend them, but I do know that you only need one or two key defensive players out and you are buggered. If your backs cannot carry out defence, then the forwards will always be run ragged.....tell me you understand this?

See  I can defend my team, why cannot you at least attempt to understand our situation. Last year Souths had similar problems, their supporters  stuck with them, we don't have the talent that they have, it will be interesting to see if we keep our new St George players after he watches and see's this result but no we will blame MON for losing him and anyone else that wants to come.

NB Anyone that wants to sack the coach is a non thinking moron, he can only work with what he has and I am sure he is trying as hard as he can to come up with a side to play canterbury next week.....good luck with that one Jason. I don't envy your attempting to make something out of a club like Parra, but we stalwarts will support you.

Final point rather than being perenial pessitmists laced with disloyalty, try coming up with some solution's and commitments to support the coaching staff through this period of "seeming disaster"  without coming with your fantasy solutions.

  • You're in denial.

  • We sure do have the dumbest fans poppa, some still think Mon and the recruitment team are doing an acceptable job.

  • Ok great sage, what is the answer then? Wait til next year? If our team is so threadbare that one or two players are out and it throws cohension out the window, there are bigger problems.

Fans are allowed to pissed at that performance. Its great to defend your team, but there comes a point where some fans just dont accept it any more. You can take the ostrich "head in sand"/unicorn approach, but a lot of fans are over it. The club moved on a coach, great it was his time. One assistant coach doesnt last 1 year, majority of squad has been moved on and apart from few decent signings, havent been replaced. So then grandmaster of all that is wise, what are the remaining constants in the equation?

    • Oh Great Sage, you realise by calling me that you put yourself in the position of being a greater one.....one or two players are out ???? Really Greater One,maybe you need to do your homework sport!

      • Using your own words dipstick

but I do know that you only need one or two key defensive players out

Another great nothing response of yours for the ages

  • Nah I would accept a loss but 52-10 at home to Gold Coast? We had issues before the injuries with our defence and even worse we gave up. That regardless of injuries is unacceptable to do.

But funny you say fans are clueless about complaining when you did the same in Round 6 last year. Dont kid yourself you did that. So don't tell people what they should be doing when you did it yourself.

    • You know what LB. I envisaged your answer.....you just cannot get it out of your head can you. Don't worry the rent is still free!

PS Guess what, its not your role to accept your loss 52=10 at home to the Gold Coast, the great part of being a teacher like you LB is that no original thought is required......

      • Tell me, is what i said wrong? as you did do that and then deleted it. You said those who say sack Ryles are non thinking morons, yet you did that this time last year. Am i wrong?

Not saying Ryles should be sacked, just you are being hypocritcal

      • Poppa you constantly remark my age and occupation and comment on majority of my comments on blogs that you didn't create. I think someone who has an obsession on what another is doing or saying is you.

  • Ryles is not the problem. He is simply hamstrung by the idiots who give him the legless cattle we pay pretty much the same % of salary cap for as Penrith etc pay for their squad.

Not sure what's happening with some of the players. Their performance seems to have fallen off a cliff. Second year syndrome?
