And Parramatta’s Nathan Brown continues to be linked with Wests Tigers. Don’t be surprised if that move is also announced shortly.

I wonder if this is linked to Papali'i?

    • And if it doesn't, we're short 2.

    • Ill be happy with the dally m back rower of the season.  Look at the cowboys, they've produced more developed back rowers in 12 months than Arthur has in 10 years lol

      • Really chief, how do determine developed because no doubt the criteria will change once your argument is proven wrong.

BA developed Papalii, Nikure, Andrew Davey,  Manu Maʻu,  Kenny Edwards, Tepai Moeroa, Backrower has been 1 of our strongest positions for a long time and yes 10years is lot of time to develop players but Manu and Edwards held the positions for few years before next group came and held for last few years.

I assume you are comparing to cowboys Nanai who everyone here would love to see in an eels jersey, but who else is better than what we have and had previously.

        • Lol Moeroa? He had one good year in his debut year in 2014, became nothing more than an average defensive middle forward.

          • LB, I included him as he started as a backrower and was good as stated.  He didn't kick on though and I think that will be similar to some of the other current NQ backrowers.  The exception being Nanai who will only get better and be a star.

            • Perhaps, though Gilbert is off to the Dolphins, Nanai had a good rookie start, like Moeroa and has carried on as you said exception. Luki is unknown at the moment too.

Moeroa was one of the most disappointing rookies i witnessed, how he started his career to how he ended up. After his rookie year, people were saying Origin.

      • I was about to say Glen Morrison but from memory did he come from Bears?

      • Stupid statement

    • I wouldn't say it is a miracle to get Papali'i back, his latest interview did not quash the rumour what so ever and the Tigers are being super desperate to convince him.

But Brown you would consider a middle forward, but hopefully El-Zakham can get a game or two in order to be a good squad option.

  • It was strong mail he was off to St. George Illawarra, TCT were adament he wouldn't go to Tigers and would be utterly surprised if he did. I think it being related to Papali'i would be the case.
