That right there is more context you could have put in your original post. You didn't let us know if he was released by the club, asked for a release or anything just that he was departing and yep.
Someone on my facey is suggesting that pezet is our Hawkins replacement for nsw cup, joash will still play 6 and pezet will step up to grade when, and as needed. Moses will play rep footy through out the year, plus factor in injuries, Jonah could be a very good backup.
Im not sure what to believe, but ultimately I have no say in how any of this plays out, thats all ryles and co. The proof will be in the pudding next year. I have no reason to doubt any of the things ryles has done so far, the club finished alot darn stronger than they started. We beat the 2025 premiers in their backyard at full strength.
If this is in fact the case then it would kind of make sense but not from pezet's perspective, if he is going to continue to play reserve grade then why not stay at the storm for 1 more year. Also an article i just read said it was a lucrative 1 year deal.
