  • If Manly agree to Tapau standing down for this next game he's the one we want to get over the line.

Clune is an interesting one as BA has finally realised his son isn't it and doesn't want to move Gutho into the halves. It also could well mean they want that kicking option either side of the ruck.

For me I don't want us to stop playing footy which ever direction we go in.This is the making of this team continue to promote the footy.

    • I just can't see BA chasing another halfback, unless of course he's been told to.

      • Probably not but we have to have a running threat either side of the ruck that's key.

It really effects our attack with the ball if inside is just going to shuffle the ball on.

  • Where did Clunes name come from.

    He's a decent backup.

  • it has to be Clune if that rumour is true, even if BA stubbornly uses his son we still need another back up to cover another injury to the halves.

    • True but to purchase another half for backup for 3/4 games would be a waste. Unless BA has come to realise JA isn't ready. I'd prefer a big body to be signed. Manly knocked back Parra's approach for Taupau twice yesterday afternoon.

      • There is absolutely no way BA isn't using this chance for Jake . He tried shifting one of the best 5/8 in the comp to get him in the side and when that didn't work he thought Mahoney and him could be the next Brad Drew & PJ Marsh .

He's 100% sticking him in now this chance has opened up . Even if a capabale backup became available  tomorrow .. Jake is his man .

        • Haha can't argue with that tbh

          • Apparently the club doctor told Moses that he was fine, strap it up and get out there, but BA told him not too and he'd need at least a month off just to be sure ;)

    • How does it have to be Clune?

      There could be other options..
