Daniel Cross

Hey all,

Was wondering about what happened to Daniel Cross from NYC? i seen him play the other night at the bulldogs game and he scored a hat trick and was wondering where he fits into the grand scheme of thing in the mighty Eels, im not saying hes the next Andrew Johns or anything stupid just that he playted alright a couple weeks ago and hes not named this week?

anyone know about this?

  • Manly have probably poached him mate.
  • I think he's injured mate. Phil might know the details?

I think he goes alright, doesn't set the world on fire though in NYC. Attacking wise he gets himself in good positions as he reads the game quite well (not unlike morts) however generally I don't think his skills are quite up to first grade (not unlike morts lol).

The club must have a decent opinion of him however because he has played a few games for Wenty this season.
  • I think parra brought him down from Qld so he must have something but is probably atleast 2yrs or more from NRL standard.
  • no he has been playing for wenty him Sio and Pat O,Halan, DA giving them experience i seen it last week when wenty played on tv and the comentator said it.

"When you look at it that way, 1.2 is a lot. I reckon he has more in him than what he's showing at the tigers. Under Ryles he'd be a different/better player in my opinion.

"💯 I think for the most part he's had his foot out the door.
Even the defensive urgency isn't there for him anymore."
