Unfortunately, after a discussion with Cooper Cronks father over a couple of beers on the weekend, a very trusted source of mine has informed me that Cronk is absolutely no chance to sign with Parra and will almost definitely stay in Melbourne.
Bit of a bummer, I know. However if he is forced out of Melbourne due to the amount of the cap they have to free up, who knows where he'll end up. As long as we keep gunning for him anything can happen I reckon.

Im sure Cronk is also 10 years old and tells his dad about everything
Did his dad know that his son and friends were cheating the cap and cronk was getting a salary as an aboriginal activist charity worker??
His dad would have no idea. The court findings are out by Friday, the court case will be dropped against the NRL and at least 2 of the big 4 will have to leave - and those will be Cronk and Inglis.
Im not saying for certain Cronk will be at parra, but if he stays in the NRL, we're at the top of the pile when it comes to offers and attractiveness.
Our biggest competition will be Melbourne Rebels union team
But i hope he is looking someone of that quality in the halves or we are in deep do-do.
If he doesn't sign a top half for next year i think he should be sacked.
