  • I doubt he'd agree to play back up on a small wage. If so,  I'd be happy to have him playing for Wenty, however,  not under any other circumstances.

  • The perceived problem is that Issac Moses is his manager. A lot of clubs are now trying to avoid Issac Moses managed players after what happened with Canberra , Warriors and Brisbane.

The flip side is he is close to 33 or 34 years old. Lots of experience as a mentor back up player but long term, I think we've done that in the past buying old men, didn't help then.

  • I'm not sure that Blake Green ever won a game playing for Parra. I think that's how his career will end. One thing is for sure, Blake Green will not be wearing lime green next year.

  • No.

  • I'm trying to imagine a world where both Moses and Brown are out.  In that world, Green would be very handy to have standing by. It's a big move to get him just for that reason however.

        • Yeah robson's second stint comes to mind for me. I wouldn't be against green on the cheap. He's not young but has been a bit of a late bloomer. Sure, he's well past his best but at the right price it wouldn't be the worst signing ever.

        • Yeah, I agree with you here. Not against it, but wouldn't put him in front of Jai Field's development and value.

        • Fiji now has a team playing RM Cup with a view to playing NSW Cup within 3 years, I think that is the way forward.

I know how you feel, you don't want to go in all guns blazing but don't think Bluey does either (won't speak for him)?

"Naturally gifted players make the worst coaches.  Thats common knowledge.  It's very rare that players who've never had to work hard to be the best can show others how to work hard to be the best.  "

"No one. We're signing no one significant at all. They'll just spread the cap around so we're cap compliant but if you're after a big name I think you'll be disappointed. "
