NEWS AND RUMORS: Parramatta Eels are rumored to be "Seriously interested" in bringing over New Zealand Warriors five eight Blake Green to the club as a bench piece.

Greens career started in Parramatta in 2007 which is when he made his career debut as a rookie.

    • You look better than I pictured you Snake.

      • Ur mumma

  • I doubt he'd agree to play back up on a small wage. If so,  I'd be happy to have him playing for Wenty, however,  not under any other circumstances.

  • The perceived problem is that Issac Moses is his manager. A lot of clubs are now trying to avoid Issac Moses managed players after what happened with Canberra , Warriors and Brisbane.

The flip side is he is close to 33 or 34 years old. Lots of experience as a mentor back up player but long term, I think we've done that in the past buying old men, didn't help then.

  • I'm not sure that Blake Green ever won a game playing for Parra. I think that's how his career will end. One thing is for sure, Blake Green will not be wearing lime green next year.

  • No.

  • I wouldn't mind it if I'm honest another game manager.

If Moses or Brown go down he'd be more relatable than what we have.

Not opposed to it I think it would be a savvy move.

  • I'm trying to imagine a world where both Moses and Brown are out.  In that world, Green would be very handy to have standing by. It's a big move to get him just for that reason however.

    • Your right Mutt's BA has never signalled this is the type of player he needs.

If we do what we hope we do this year, the emphasis has to be on retention and making the cap....hopefully we should be in a position to pull more TPA's to meet the obvious situation of bonus payments, State of Origin Debuts and the greed's of the other club's wanting our players.

The programs we work out for next year will be junior development, whether from within or without.

We need to plan developmentally for centres, wingers and fullbacks and hookers. We have a good one (hooker) coming through, the pressure will be more 2022 rather than 2021.

People on here also need to note that we have no viewing of our juniors this year at all!!!
