I know a lot of the focus has been on last night but I think it's appropriate to highlight a massive milestone the club has achieved. For the first time in our history the Eels have surpassed 20,000 members, placing us third in the competition behind the Rabbitohs and Broncos. This means we have surged past powerhouse clubs Newcastle and the Dragons. I honestly didn't think we would beat the Bulldogs in this race given that they enjoyed a huge head-start at the beginning. But this proves to me once again that while the Bulldogs are more money based and driven by corporate greed, it is the Eels who are far more popular and have far more passionate fans. We are the pride of Western Sydney and always will be. This is our house. Well done to all the members who joined and together we will grow stronger. Go Parra.

Yes good blog, i didnt think we could get there so quick, perhaps 5k of those is Spagnolos friends and relatives, none the less a great effort from the club.
Incredible really, considering our last 3 years (14th, 16th, 16th). Just another demonstration of why Parramatta have one of the best fan bases in the league.
In spite of this, we're consistently fucked over by the NRL. You'd think being such a powerhouse club with so much fan power, they would have wanted us to bring Folau back to the NRL. Apparently not...
