  • JT is a winner. It's always been the difference... and sadly may be next year
    • Yeah he won everything at Norths and parra?

    • JT cost us the 2001 GF. Couldn't tackle

    • Within 1 year JT got us to the GF in 2001. Best halfback we've had since Sterlo. Took over a horrid Parra side and coached them to the finals. Champion bloke!
    • EXACTLY. He took over a side that wasnt listening to a team that would go on to win 8 straight to make the finals. ABSOLUTE CHAMPION! Congrats on the win tonight JT. Thoroughly deserved!
    • No doubt JT had a huge part in this GF win. Awesome player and now an awesome coach. He'll continue to be a winning champion. We forgot to mention he took Souths to their first finals appearance after many long suffering years. If Roosters keep him, I can see them winning many more comps.
  • Took over a horrid Parra side???  The side the year before one the Minor premiership, it was the same squad it's just the players had stopped listening to Smith. He brought in hayne and did a great job but it was a top quality squad.

  • JT got walked over by Kennedy twice. John Simon, Paul Green & Tim Smith were all better than JT.

Brad Drew & PJ Marsh made him look good.

  • Has not been an NRL coach since, except as an assistant coach of two grand final teams, one of which won a premiership. Instigator you are a fool. Why don't you post that offensive photo of JT being king hit again to prove your point - that you are an ignorant grub.

  • Yes  Fuuuuuui, but we can have him. The board only has to say yes on Tuesday.
