  I think we're in with a shot against both Souths, Manly and the Dogs. After Origin and two of those matches are at Parramatta. We pushed Manly at Brookie earlier in the year and we've improved since then.

  We have got a pretty easy run home
  Most teams we play are outside the eight. I reckon we will finish 8th

  Eels have 8 games left.

  We need to win 4 of our remaining games to have a good shot of making the 8

  i did it a few weeks ago but can't remember now. at that stage i had us beating melbourne and newcastle though so it was higher than 8th

  i just did the ladder predictor and finals predictor on nrl.com cos i was bored at work. i had us finishing 3rd on 38 equal with the bulldogs who came 4th, haha (wishful thinking??) manly minor premiers, roosters came second, knights for the spoon.

   

  we ended up facing the bulldogs in the grand final after beating manly to qualify.

   

  serisously though, it's too hard to do that ladder predictor, every game that comes up u think yeah we can win that!? i gave us a few losses but in reality i know there will be more, i think i was pretty hard on melbourne as well, they didn;t finish in the 8 at all.

   

  i think if we beat the bulldogs this week which i think will happen, and a beat up storm the next week then i think we will definetly go on to make the 8.

  

  THE NEXT 4 WEEKS ARE HUGE!

   Just looking ahead and thinking how big the next month of NRL is for the Eels. As we sit at the midway point of the season on 16 competition points…

  Obviously BA gave them the instructions to work it to the posts and take the 1 when it was 54 nil.

  I can't believe how compressed the table is. It's ridiculous. That loss against the knights really cost us. We have some big games coming up. 6 or 7 teams on 20 points.
