Coaching

Brad Arthur is really the coach we have needed all along, defensively minded and also has a passion for the club. Brad Arthur can't do it alone and I think our assistants need to be top notch as well. 1 needs to be an attacking planner and the other one needs to have worked with u20's successfully. For our under 20's coach I am really keen for Holbrook, he looks the goods. Duneman would actually be a great choice as an assistant, my other choice would be JT but he won't leave so maybe Kimmorley or Walters tbh. We need a very good trainer and that medical officer thing would be good too. If Sandow doesn't work out I really hope we have some cash for a mid season signing.

  • Couldnt agree more mate! I think Arthur is more a forwards man from what ive heard, so I think they need to go with a former Half such as Holbrook or Duneman,or even better Kimmorley. That IMO would be a perfect fit.Arthur seems to be a real Defence man which is good.We have the strike power in Hopp,Hayne and Norman we just need to get our D structure right and have commitment to make the tackles.
  • Good news, Moi Moi wants to ink a new 2 year deal at the end of next year.

    • Bad news, Moi moi should retire at the end of 2014, we don't want another Hindmarsh playing 2 seasons too long taking up cap space. It's been 4yrs since Moi moi was at his best.

    • Moi moi still has more impact then any of our forwards put together. Only one who bends the line but he is getting on in age.
  • I'd be keen to sign up Shannon Boyd, he is a beast.

    • You sound keen
  • I don't think so, I reckon next year we'll see the meteoric rise of Kelepi Tanginoa and Jnr Paulo. Both played a bit of first grade this year but I reckon they'll make their mark on the comp as two damaging runners of the ball.

  • Has Holbrook been confirmed? If not I'd still rather Hutchinson

  • I would only re-sign him for 1yr if on the cheap.

    • I still don't think we'd need it for prop/second row we'll have. Mannah, Mossop, Allgood, Lussick, Jnr Paulo, Tanginoa, Terepo, Pauli, Santi, Alvaro, Loko(?), Ualesi, Edwards. It'd be wasted cap space.
