  • For me Averillo walks right into a starting centre spot here purely because we have nothing else if we let that resonate for a second. The only real quality we have in the outside backs is Iongi all the rest is bog average.

Thats an indictment right there as Averillo isn't a long term answer for anyone hence why he's club bounced  not been able to land a full time starting spot.So if I'm Parra I wouldn't go after a player like that. But Tevita Naufahu now there's a player I'd be targeting Herbie Farnworth there's a player I'm targeting if I'm big game hunting and looking for long term players to build a club around. That's where we have to look to shop on up n comers not locked up long term or big game hunt and overpay the middle ground is covered for the most part.

Chief Jaydn Sua is a great signing for us because he brings something to our pack that is missing he has a harder edge not the soft finesse crap that we have in there now.Reminds me of what Nuikore brought physicality yes prone to suspension but you know your looking for him if he's defending on that edge,

    • JAC has been amazing this year and one of the best wingers of the season, you can't leave him out.

    • Rocco berry? What's your thoughts on him coryn?

      • Solid but doesn't move the needle enough imo. He's just a guy who'll do the job not overly quick strong or fast but again a guy like this walks right into Parra's backline because we are so woefully under manned in the outside backs.

JaC yes great finisher great but there's deficiencies in his game that Parra need.Back 5 yardage should be something we target this off season.Thats game changing for us as we are powder puff soft in the middle of the park.

A team like us loses Brown & Lomax and replaces them with Pezet/? & Simonsson and we expect to get better keep dreaming that's half the issue right there. Its not winning roster management.

  • Gents I mean I know you've all seen how sides are built you need to be athletic in this version of the game.If you don't have that athleticism and physicality across the park your making the numbers up.

I mean look at what Penrith have a 20 yr second coming of GI in Casey Maclean running out for them as if they needed him right and our answer is Nanva same same on the wings they have Milky & Alamoti on minimum and look what we have and while Iongi is in his infancy Edward's is Aussie and SoO material.

At bare minimum Parra needs a Milky and Tago plus an alpha middle to get competitive if we roll out Averillo Berrys of the world yeah good luck for 27 I reckon.

    • At Parra, any junior with any talent gets stripped before they even make 1st grade. There's always an excuse. Stafano, Tulagi, Sanders and now Twidle was the last straw for me. There's something seriously wrong at this club that we can't hang on to the good ones yet we have a fist full of plodders supporting our 1st grade.

      • Brown about did it for me 8 yr contract and we still lose our best and brightest developed player in the last decade yet as you mention AE Penrith Melbourne and alike some how manage to keep there best young players stashed and when they do let players go seemingly they manage to identify and keep there best.

Riff the only one I think they regret letting walk is Critta all he rest they've pretty much got right.
