I mean if he wants to be hovered over by Gus then go for it, well if we were to move on from BA not sure who else is there as Woolf is staying in England for one more year too, limited options might save BA

One thing i will say about Ciraldo to Bulldogs, if true, is he said no to Tigers off the back of Cleary being in his ear. Ciraldo listens to Cleary. So surely Cleary would have said not a good idea to be under Gus? When Cleary came back to Penrith he got rid of Gus quick smart, so surely something about him there Cleary did not like, so why send Ciraldo down the same path?
Oh well not our issue but yeah odd thought i just had. But Ciraldo seems to be a guy that takes majority of interviews regardless of early interest or not and sees what they offer, goes away thinks and makes a decision. Like if the Warriors made an offer he at first would be like no way but would interview think and say no. He did that with Newcastle a few years back and Cronulla last year both head coach and assistant. Still think for him Penrith is his best option as he would walk into that job so taking this with Gus instead of Penrith eventually is crazy.
Funny how Gould warned Ciraldo off taking the Tigers job. Gould is working for an aptly named club.
Cleary did as well.
Ciraldo's best move is to wait for Penrith, no pressure and will get the dream job with their juniors.

Well i can sort of see how people can feel he is overrated, but from the lower grades he was a coach to watch. Barrett had same 20's team and didn't do much with them, Ciraldo takes them and makes 2 GF's and wins one. He is a defensive mastermind, he is cool and calm communicator and seems players love him.
I think he is very special of a coach. No guarentees but i think he will be very good, though i am also a believer in that not all great coaches find success at every team. I.e. Maguire at Wests.
No idea , people on here get excited over anyone who isn't named Authur . Does not matter whether they are a one eyed , drunk , limp dicked , vegetable in a wheelchair , they could coach better than BA.
Even Flanagan Wiz? He is hated here, though i must say i would not mind him at all, though understand the reasons people despise him.
I think Flanno would be a better pick up than Ciraldo. I really enjoy Flanagan's commentary, has a very knowledgeable football mind and has won a GF against a side that was expected to beat them. If he's done his time and paid for his previous misdemeanours then why not?
On Ciraldo, going on his lower grade form is as risky as picking up a Justin Holbrook type coach based on his form in the English League. And the last assistant to Cleary (who apparently was the attacking mastermind and got on very well with the players) turned out to be a disaster at the dogs.
I'd actually really love the dogs to take the massive risk on Ciraldo and it blow up in theirs and Gould's face.
