Chris Feather - UK signing ?

I heard that parramatta may have signed a UK Front Rower who has played over 100 Super League games. His name is Chris Feather - this is the Wikapedia profile :

Chris Feather (born 12 July 1981) in Keighley, West Yorkshire) is an English rugby league player. He is currently playing for Wyong Roos in the Tooheys Cup in Newcastle. He previously played for Villeneuve Leopards in the Elite One Championship and the Castleford Tigers and Bradford Bulls in Super League. His position is Prop forward. He has also played for Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and Leeds Rhinos.

Apparantly playing for Wyong in the Newcastle Cup which indicates maybe just a depth signing for WENTY ? Anyone hear this ?

Cheers

  • Yes that is right - picking up a bit of extra coin whilst in Australia chasing the Aussie girls and hanging out with BURGESS and the celebrities..... beats doing bar shifts at the club
  • he is a monster and played top grade in england.
  • I think hes been here for about 6 mnths!Apparently Burgess convinced him to come and play NRL, but he wanted to acclimatise to the Australian conditions before trying for a top grade spot!

He will bring a massive amount of grunt up front, and i think you'll find he's more than a 20 minute stint player like most of the forwards we have. He can maintain that ferocious momentum for longer periods, meaning better value for money and interchanges can be used elsewhere
  • Your right there PM, this bloke would give Burgess a run for his money, and imagine the rivalry they would have!
  • what worries me is the very little fanfare or media that this has attracted. We go beserk over ever other signing and this doesnt rate a mention anywhere...... hope you guys are right..... last few poms have beeen great for their clubs BURGESS and EL:LIS.....
  • HAS this been confirmed any where in the media or is it anuther ghost signing.
  • Mortimer will shine in 2011
  • sam burgress did get him to australia, could burgress be coming to parra later?. maybe guys
  • why not every other forward is.
  • It's been confirmed.
We've had him under our wing for the last 3/4 months at least.
Pretty sure it was written somewhere here before as well.
