Wtf ?? NRL desperate for the donkey's to appear in the finals..I guess it's bad business when they miss out
I see the geniuses at Parra club are playing another QLD team in hot muggy Darwin again
I don't mind them playing Qld teams there (esp the southern ones) but it's more the timimg. They are playing in April when officiallly the wet season is still going so it's still humid as.
The Darwin game should be played in June or July when the dry season is well under way and the nights are cooler and less humid.
Zip Zip. That's on the NRL, nothing to do with us.
We give the NRL a couple weekends that we would like to play and the NRL decides who we play.
Have to admit, be pretty cool seeing Parramatta play at the GABBA haha.
I read a FB comment yesterday where someone mentioned "Sydney clubs get looked after and QLD clubs get dudded all the time"
As John Cena says in a meme "ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT???"
17 of their 24 games are in QLD. Incredible.
Why is that incredible ? They have 3 Qld rivals that they'll play twice, and rightly so, one game in Magic Round, not sure the extra away game is, but it actually makes sense. Souths are taking a hone game against the Broncos to the Sunny Coast. There's your 17 Qld games.
Fair call Brett, forgot Dolphins equals to two extra QLD games a year. Souths could have played anyone on Sunshine Coast but leads to more money at the gate in that game with Brisbane.
The Dolphins game is an away game and Manly is an away game on Magic Round. So they really only play 5 out of their first ten games at home.
Disgraceful that Manly are the designated 'home' team for Magic Round.
