Parramatta Wall - Peter Sterling

I got strange stirrings of man love for Sterlo watching this video,I take it today it would be obstruction? It is beautiful to watch. Our current attack consists of one up hit ups for say 25 metres then either a nothing kick or a pass to Hayne for a "here you go mate, see what you can do". When it works fine, but the problem is it doesn't work very often.
We need more attacking options, via set plays like the wall. Are today's players dumber than their predecessors?
To quote Tommy Raudonikis/Billy Birmingham, here are some nuggets of Rugby League wisdom:
"Rugby League is a simple game for simple people,if you want to be a thinker then go play f**king soccer...If we can have more points than the other side at the end of the game, then we got a good chance of winning".
Every NFL team has a play book, why aren't NRL sides doing the same?
Hayne is a freak, but we can't just rely on him to fire, because some games he just seems out of sorts. He should be our extra kick in the arse,on top of some clever attacking plays.
I forgot how Sterlo looked with hair on.There is one bloke who doesn't suit the cue-ball look.Go on Sterlo buy a rug,you need one.

Amazing slight of hand. He had me fooled.
x 2 - had to do a triple take to figure it out
Wasn't there a Gibson play called "the mousetrap" as well?
No mention of the 'Flying Wedge'????
It's about 5 minutes into this footage ...that's me in the crowd waving the flag.

You may be right. I recall the play was used close to the opposition line, with very little success. LOL.
Thank you for that novel. To address Chapter 3 of your response,In case you haven't twigged yet,I was being facetious.NFL can give NRL attacking plays. The past 10 years has seen a sameness build up in all team's attacks. Why wouldn't you want to confuse the opposition by trying something different?
Are you unaware who Billy Birmingham is and what he represents?
Are you watching different games to everyone else,or talking about a different Joseph Paulo? The one I'm talking about often has a confused directional sense, hence his often cited appearance to a crab? There is a difference between an attacking forward and a useless ,sideways running ball hog,Paulo is clearly the second.
That was funny to see how puny the players look to today's models.POH was born 50 years too late,he would have fit right in.I have also watched a lot of these old games and am really shocked at what a messy bunch of litterbugs we were. They games look to be played on rubbish tips, they just need more seagulls screeching around. The line marking was so amateurish then,it makes watching from television hard.
The Flying Wedge! Thanks for that.
